In this role, you will have the creative freedom to run a successful kitchen while retaining the ability to hire and develop your own culinary team. You will oversee labor and food costs, educate residents and team members about healthy food options, and build a team dedicated to great food and meaningful relationships.

You will develop personal relationships with a community of wonderful people, ensuring each member of your team understands all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation. Requirements

  • Commitment to Touchmark's values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate or degree in culinary arts or a related field
  • At least three years' experience as a food services director, manager, or chef with leadership responsibilities in a similar environment
  • Demonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen and managing a team of kitchen staff
  • Valid food handler's card and willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
