About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team at Shark Club Vancouver. As the Chef, you will oversee culinary operations, develop leaders and team members, create atmosphere, and ensure profitability. Our menu features globally inspired flavours and fresh, high quality ingredients.
You will take the lead in hiring all culinary team members, including training and scheduling. Work with other leaders to drive daily operations at an outstanding level, maximizing long-term profitability through excellent leadership and mentorship. Hold your team to the highest food quality execution and support ongoing development of culinary skills.

Requirements
- 3+ years experience leading a culinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Skilled business sense regarding inventory management, food cost, labour and scheduling, variable costs.
- Established leadership skills with ability to develop people and motivate everyone to be at their best.
- Passion for the highest level of food quality.
- Energetic, upbeat, and ambitious.
- Strong patience and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve professional and personal goals.
