About this role

We are seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity to join a high-flying team of hospitality professionals and to continually improve the Aspire Executive Lounge offering. Our ambition is to be the Best Lounge provider globally.

The Kitchen Porter reports to the Team Leader and is a key member of the back of house team, assisting the Cook and Store team. Daily tasks include loading and unloading the dishwasher, receiving and storing stock deliveries, and disposing of waste following recycling procedures.

This role helps ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded, so they leave our lounges feeling Welcome, Relaxed & Energised. You will maintain high levels of hygiene in all areas and assist the chef with retrieving stock and applying the Food Safety Management System.

Requirements

Background in a kitchen environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team or be self-motivated to complete tasks.
Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexibility when required.
Flexible to work shifts throughout the week.

Responsibilities

Load and unload the dishwasher.
Receive and store stock deliveries and rotate stock.
Dispose of waste following recycling procedures.
Restock cleaned crockery.
Maintain high levels of hygiene in all areas.
Assist the chef by retrieving required stock.
Assist the chef in applying the Food Safety Management System consistently.
Complete ad-hoc reasonable requests from the local leadership team.
