Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook A' or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid food handling and safety certification
Responsibilities
- Assist the executive chef and sous chefs in menu planning, recipe development, and culinary presentations
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to established standards
- Assist in training and supervising junior culinary staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate cooking schedules and ensure timely delivery of food to guests
- Continuously strive for culinary excellence, remaining up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
