Seeking a talented Line Cook with Breakfast and Dinner experience to join the Culinary Team in a small upscale independent living retirement community. The role focuses on preparing meals that respect resident preferences and special dietary requirements while meeting all food and sanitation regulations.

Daily work includes assisting in the production of all menu items and demonstrating safe food handling procedures with emphasis on critical control points. The kitchen cooks from scratch with a menu that changes daily, requiring close attention to recipes and quantity adjustments.

Requirements

Well rounded Line Cook with Fine Dining or Casual Fine Dining experience preferred.
Breakfast and Dinner experience required.
Must be able to follow recipes and adjust quantities.
Background clearance, drug testing and physical required.

Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
Assist in the production of all menu items.
Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.
Follow recipes and adjust quantities for scratch cooking with daily menu changes.
