Reporting to the Senior Executive Chef, you'll take a hands-on approach focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations. This role plays a key part in meeting budget requirements and executing company-delivered programs.

Requirements
- Requires 2-3 years of experience in a related position
- Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
- Culinary degree preferred
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
- Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and problems
- Requires oral, reading and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise all related culinary activities
- Estimate pastry and food consumption and requisition or purchase supplies
- Select and develop recipes while standardizing production recipes for consistent quality
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards and plan and price menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance along with safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Oversee special catering events and offer culinary instruction or demonstrate techniques
