Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting.

The role requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. The Food Service Director/GM has overall responsibility of food service, instituting company cycle menus and recipes.

This leader plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, and customer and client relations. They oversee food preparation service and sanitation, and are accountable for the total operation results.

Requirements

3+ years in a Food Service Manager role (front and back)
Knowledgeable in Retail Sales and POS systems
Catering Management Experience
Impeccable Communication Skills
Restaurant Management knowledge
Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
Team Building with strong Recruiting and Retention Program
Technology Savvy

Responsibilities

Institute company cycle menus and recipes
Plan and oversee purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, and bookkeeping
