As a Pastry Chef, you will prepare pastries ensuring proper taste, appearance, and correct application of pastry techniques. You will control quality according to established standards and present pastries before serving following kitchen SOP. Maintaining a clean workspace per HACCP standards is essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Qualified pastry chef (preferred)
  • Two years of work experience in same or similar positions (preferred)
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices
  • Proficiency in pastry techniques and presentation
  • Ability to use pastry inventory, equipment, and devices correctly
  • Understanding of kitchen SOP and occupational health and safety measures

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pastries ensuring proper taste, appearance, and correct application of pastry techniques
  • Control the quality of prepared pastries according to established standards
  • Present pastries before serving according to the kitchen SOP and property category
  • Clean and organize the workspace according to HACCP standards
  • Handle ingredients properly and store them according to HACCP standards
  • Use pastry inventory, equipment, and devices correctly
  • Know and apply department SOP
  • Know and apply occupational health and safety measures
