About this role

The Line Cook prepares food following all specifications and company safety and sanitation procedures. You will report to the General Manager in this part-time role with a variable schedule based on business needs. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option.

Prepare a variety of food using diverse methods of preparation while following specific product prep, handling procedures, and plate presentation. Maintain a high-quality product throughout the shift. Keep prepared food flowing out of the kitchen efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and clean and sanitize during the shift. Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations. Communicate ticket times and potential problems with the QA, manager, and servers.

Break down and clean stations or work areas at the end of the shift. Ensure rotation of all products and stock products properly. Perform shift change, opening, and closing responsibilities while assisting other Team Members as needed.

Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Willingness to work weekends and holidays supports consistent operations. Gain hands-on experience in high-volume food preparation and station management.

Requirements

  • Stand/walk 100% of shift
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
  • Lift and carry up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift; place these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler or freezer
  • Work in frequently damp, hot work environment
  • Use knives and utensils
  • Use slicers or other kitchen machinery
  • Hold items for extended periods of time, bearing weight up to 5lbs
  • Work weekends and holidays
