About this role

The Club Company is a premium collection of golf and country clubs across the UK, blending golf, fitness, and wellness to offer a complete lifestyle. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Porter to support food preparation and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen.

In this role, you will assist with obtaining ingredients and small equipment for food preparation, following standard recipes to meet the Club’s specifications. You will maintain a safe, tidy kitchen environment by washing all crockery, cutlery, and utensils, and cleaning food storage areas.

You will use safe and sanitary food handling practices while managing waste and ensuring all kitchen utensils are properly stored. Our team operates with CARE values: Caring, Ambitious, Respectful, and Energised, creating a feel-good environment for members and staff alike.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and motivated attitude toward kitchen work.
  • Ability to follow standard recipes and club specifications accurately.
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy kitchen equipment.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Willingness to assist the chef team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with obtaining ingredients and small equipment for food preparation.
  • Follow standard recipes and ensure food preparation is executed according to the Club’s specifications.
  • Use safe and sanitary food handling practices at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your workstation, including washing all crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to required standards.
  • Clean food storage areas and manage waste effectively.
  • Ensure all kitchen utensils are properly stored after use.
  • Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Assist the chef team where needed to support smooth kitchen operations.
