About this role

The Pastry Chef prepares and bakes a wide assortment of breakfast pastries including croissants, muffins, scones, and danishes. The role also includes creating cookies, bars, and sweet treats along with healthy options such as gluten-free, vegan, and low-sugar baked goods.

Daily work centers on ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and attractive presentation of all items. The chef manages inventory, orders ingredients and supplies, and maintains a clean, organized pastry station that meets food safety and sanitation standards.

Collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house staff coordinates bakery production with service demands in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask support efficient output across breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods.

Flexibility for weekend shifts and a creative approach with attention to detail help deliver appealing baked goods. The position offers opportunities to refine pastry techniques while contributing to a high-volume operation focused on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker of 5+ years with a strong focus on breakfast pastries and baked treats.
  • Knowledge of creating healthy and dietary-specific baked goods (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
  • Creative approach with great attention to detail and presentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility to work breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts, including weekends.
