About this role

As a Line Cook, you will be preparing food the Red Robin way, which includes cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients.

You will be keeping Guests worry-free by adhering to safe food handling and cleanliness rules. In addition to base pay you will also receive a free meal each shift. The role is also eligible to enjoy flexible work schedules and a 50% discount on Red Robin food with 25% for your family.

Requirements

  • Must be 17 or older
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Comfortable with cutting, sautéing, broiling, and frying techniques
  • Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Positive attitude and a passion for serving great food

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food the Red Robin way, including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking various meals including meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients
  • Keep Guests worry-free by adhering to safe food handling and cleanliness rules
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
  • Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality
  • Stock and rotate ingredients to support high-volume service
  • Communicate with the kitchen team to coordinate timing and orders
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
