About this role
Join the Elicit Brewing family as a Line Cook, where you will be at the front lines of our kitchen, carrying out new developing recipes and menu items as set by the Chef. You will present new dishes with precision and quality that meet Eli's company standards.
Day-to-day, you will execute menu items from start to finish, including preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, cooking, and plating. You will master the stations while honing your existing skills and learning new techniques to build your skill set.
Working collaboratively with both BOH and FOH staff, you will maintain cleanliness of all work areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas. You will also participate in deep cleaning of these areas to ensure a safe and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements
- Ability to follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
- Ability to maintain food safety and quality standards
- Ability to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently
- Ability to communicate any food delays or issues to the Coordinator
- Ability to maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below minimum
- Ability to accurately account for all items coming out of the station
- Ability to understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
- Ability to comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
Responsibilities
