Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook for Sake No Hana in New York City. Daily responsibilities include setting up stations with necessary supplies and preparing both hot and cold foods. Line cooks accurately follow orders from the POS system or expeditor. They handle allergy and dietary restrictions while accommodating guest needs, ensuring consistency and execution to company standards.

Teamwork is essential; line cooks follow supervisor’s instructions and support coworkers to maintain a clean station. They possess in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and general venue knowledge. Effective communication and collaboration are vital in this fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality, consistency and production of all food items
  • Prepare all restaurant foods, hot and cold
  • Accurately follow all orders received from the POS system and/or directions from the expeditor
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execute them to TAO Standards
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests
  • Handle all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Follow supervisor’s instructions and communicate with and support co-workers
