About this role
The Line Cook will provide and maintain high quality standards in preparing and serving food while keeping the kitchen clean and safe. This role supports the company's goals, vision, and values. A $1K signing bonus is offered for full-time hires, with $500 after 90 days and $500 after 180 days.
Responsible for preparation of all restaurant foods, hot and cold, with attention to plate presentation. Must maintain solid knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and policies. Troubleshoot equipment using proper tools and assist in lowering food cost and waste by properly labeling and dating products.
Works as a team, effectively communicating with management, chefs, and service staff to fulfill guest requests. Reads and expedites computer tickets for service and produces production lists for efficient execution. Conducts inventory regularly to ensure proper par levels and assists chefs, cooks, pantry workers, and kitchen helpers as needed.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience.
- Standalone restaurant experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Culinary degree from an accredited program preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures (-10°F to +110°F); proficient with kitchen machinery.
Responsibilities
