About this role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers. As the Line Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, coordinating food preparation activities, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
In this role, you will set up and stock your assigned station with necessary supplies before each shift, then prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. You will utilize various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking to prepare menu items and ensure order accuracy to reduce wait times.
You will collaborate closely with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and maintain smooth operations during service. Your focus on food safety and sanitation will help us maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, while your attention to quality control ensures every plate meets our high standards.

Requirements
- Food safety knowledge, including familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Understanding of proper food storage, handling, and hygiene procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure food is prepared accurately, presentation standards are met, and orders are complete
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy pots and pans, and withstand high temperatures in the kitchen environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
Responsibilities

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of food orders to meet guest expectations and reduce wait times
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report any shortages or items in need of replenishment to kitchen management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
