Top of the Woods full service restaurant at Galleria Woods in Hoover, Alabama is recruiting a Per Diem (As Needed) Line Cook for the day shift. This role offers a great work life balance with no late-night shifts, and a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for menu presentation, food preparation, production, and food delivery systems. You will produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria, and assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.

Requirements

1 or more years of experience as a Line Cook.
Knowledge of menu presentation, food preparation, production, food delivery systems, and utility.
Culinary education and supervisory background desirable.
Ability to plan and organize work, and to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards.
Prefer experience cooking from scratch and batch cooking.
ServSafe Certified.

Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance.
Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment.
