About this role
North High Brewing serves craft beer and a full menu of from-scratch bites in Historic Dublin and Uptown Westerville. We are looking for people who share our passion for great food and want every dish that leaves the kitchen to look and taste amazing.
As a Line Cook, you will prepare and plate all food items to NHB recipes and standards, using methods like frying, sautéing, baking, and boiling. You'll set up, break down, and clean all stations, inspect ingredients, and ensure every plate meets our quality expectations.
Everyone in the back of house is a key component to our operation, and we have each other's backs to keep customers fed. You'll help stock the line, jump in if someone is in the weeds, and follow all health code and sanitation rules.

Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Desire to learn and grow
- Food safety certifications are encouraged
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with weighing and measuring ingredients
- Ability to utilize all kitchen equipment and proper cleaning methods
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate all food items to NHB recipes and standards
- Visually inspect all food items coming into and leaving the kitchen
- Identify and prepare all menu items using frying, sautéing, baking, and boiling methods
- Set up, break down, and clean all stations and kitchen
- Adhere to local, state, and federal health code and sanitation rules
- Cover, date, and label all food for storage according to health code rules
- Assist in completing daily duties including stocking the line and helping coworkers when needed
- Wear proper uniform at all times while at work
