Mainsail Lodging & Development

US · Full-time · $30,000 – $38,000

About this role

We’re looking for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic people who take the work seriously, but not themselves. The Line Cook II assists in food preparation and maintains kitchen operations while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality.

Day-to-day, you’ll accurately prepare ingredients for service—washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring—and support senior kitchen staff with cooking tasks like grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking. You’ll also assist in assembling and plating dishes to meet the restaurant’s presentation standards.

You’ll maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift, following health and safety standards, and participate in daily and weekly cleaning routines. Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff is key to smooth operations, and you’ll communicate any challenges or changes during service effectively.

You’ll follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including SafeServe sanitary compliance, and maintain a sense of ownership of the hotel and restaurant. This role is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with the Epicurean Hotel’s culinary standards.
